Ready to get active, get connected,
and help raise funds for Hope Connections?
Join Team Hope from April
24th - May 29th for the COVID-"15" Challenge, a
six-week training, wellness, and fundraising initiative! This
hybrid, virtual-and-in-person event will consist of
weekly training sessions with a personal trainer outside at Hope
Connections, meditation, yoga, and nutrition classes on Zoom, and
weekly walks on the Bethesda Trolley Trail. For a full calendar of
events, reach out to Rebecca at rebecca@hopeconnectionsforcancer.org
Here are four steps to get you started:
1. Sign up with Rebecca (email: rebecca@hopeconnectionsforcancer.org)
-- there are only
10 slots available
, so act quickly!
2. Take a look at your calendar for
the weeks between April 24th and May 29th - which events are you
able to attend? There will be points awarded for each event and
fundraising activity you participate in! The winner will receive a
soon to be announced prize!
3. Make a list of friends, family
members, and colleages who may be willing to donate to support your
initiative! Remeber that your $500 fundraising goal can either be
raised from your supporters or fulfilled via personal donations!
4. Post your updates and progress on
social media, or send them out to your supporters via email! Make
sure to use the hashtags: #COVID15Challenge #WellnessAtHope,
#TeamHope, and #HopeConnectionsCommunity when you are posting!
With your help, we can raise funds to
help ensure that no one faces cancer alone.

COVID-19 SAFETY INFORMATION:
While participating in
events held or sponsored by Hope Connections for Cancer Support,
“social distancing” must be practiced and face coverings worn at
all times to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19. All
in-person activities will take place outdoors where social
distancing is easily done. All other events will be hosted on
Zoom. Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread
mainly from person-to-person contact, Hope Connections for Cancer
Support has put in place preventative measures to reduce the
spread of COVID-19. However, Hope Connections for Cancer Support
cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or
others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19.
