While in high school Connor was able to learn how to read, write and
perform basic math. One of his biggest challenges, which continues
today, is his inability to interact socially and communicate with
others. This ultimately manifests itself in the form of anxiety which
at times can be overwhelming and extremely frustrating for Connor as
he does not know how to manage his emotions effectively.
We are thrilled and excited to have been accepted to the Kingston 4
Paws waitlist! We truly believe that a service dog will help Connor is
so many ways. The benefits will help control his anxiety, help with
his socialization, his communication skills, assist with sudden
changes in routine, which causes very high stress levels. A service
dog will also help open new doors and opportunities for Connor that he
may not otherwise experience.
