After 30 years of dedicated service to his country, Master Warrant
Officer Jose Drouin was medically released from the Canadian Armed
Forces. Having served two tours in Alert, two tours in Bosnia and two
tours in Afghanistan, he was no stranger to stressful and traumatic
events. Jose was the type of leader to always tell his troops to take
care of themselves. It was difficult for him to take care of himself.
Though a recent diagnosis, his PTSD began several years ago.
Jose lives with his wife, Paula, in Kingston and looks forward to the
day when he meets his service dog. A constant companion, his furry
friend will be a source of calm and reassurance.
Thank you for your generous donation and helping Jose be a healthier,
happier husband and father.
