LOCATION:Meeting Place at Big White\, Across from Big Clock in Main Village\, Main Village at Big White\, Kelowna\, BC
DESCRIPTION:People In Motion's adaptive snow sports program is available to children\, youth and adults with disabilities who wish to participate in adaptive snow sports acitivities. &nbsp\;The program is designed to meet the needs of athletes who are either intellectually\, physically or visually disabled. &nbsp\;The program runs 7 days a week during the regular Big White ski season.\nThere is no typical day for our clients! &nbsp\;The individual needs\, challenges and desires of each client are reviewed and discussed in advance by our staff and volunteers. &nbsp\;We then develop a plan to ensure a successful and fun ski day for each individual. &nbsp\;All equipment and volunteer instructors are provided and therefore booking at least 3 to 4 weeks ahead of time is required. &nbsp\;Please note that all registrants/participants of our Adaptive Snow Sports program must be 6 years of age as of Jan 1\, 2016.\nThere is a $50.00 fee for the 2015-2016 season which includes your People In Motion membership. &nbsp\;Register before November 15\, 2015 and receive an early bird discount and pay $40.00. &nbsp\;Clients will also need to purchase seperately the BC Adaptive Snow Sports membership for liability and insurance coverage as well as receive the 50% off discount on the lift ticket price at Big White Ski Resort.\nYou will require your BC Adaptive Snow Sports 2015-2016 membership number to complete the registration to participate in the Powder Hounds Adaptive Snow Sports program for 2015-2016.\nClick on link to apply for the BC Adaptive Snow Sports membership &nbsp\;BC Adaptive Snow Sports Membership\n&nbsp\;
