DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE: Kids In Motion is a program of the Kelowna & District Society for People In Motion. It was put into place in the Central Okanagan in order to promote adaptive sport, recreation and active living opportunities for children with disabilities.                                              =0D=0A=0D=0A            =0D=0A                                                                                          =0D=0A=0D=0AThe purpose of the event is to showcase various outdoor recreational opportunities available to children with disabilities and allow their families to experience some of these activities, many for the first time. This event has not only provided the opportunity for approximately 120 individuals to learn more about the programs available to them but it has also helped to raise awareness in the community on the abilities of children with disabilities given the proper support.=0D=0A=0D=0ADue to the resounding success of previous years events, Kids In  Motion will be hosting its “Family Fun Day for Children & Youth who have a Physical or Sensory Disability" at Big White Mountain Ski Resort once again along with our 5th Annual Charity Poker Ski-A-Thon.  Details of the Ski-A-Thon can be found on our events page of the People In Motion website.=0D=0A=0D=0AIn addition to the Family Fun Day activities, Big White Ski Resort has several great Free Family Fun Activities starting at 4:00 until 9:00 pm on the 25th of February.
