DESCRIPTION:VASS delivers ski\, snowboard and sit-ski lessons to people with a\n  disability in the lower mainland. All lessons are 100% coordinated and\n  taught by volunteers. We currently have 17 program to choose from this\n  year. VASS creates opportunities for volunteers who want to contribute\n  to their community while having fun in an outdoor\, recreational\n  setting. \nIf you are not a skier nor snowboarder and want to help VASS we need\n  you too….\nThank you for your heart and time. You are some of our most import\n  volunteers as you often have the ability to help the VASS machine run\n  smoothly. Here are some of the roles that we recognize we need help in:\n\n  ON THE MOUNTAIN\n\n\n  Program Assistant – helping the Program Coordinators organize\n    lessons\, on and off the snow\n\nMost of the programs begin mid-January and run for 6 weeks.\n\n  OFF THE MOUNTAIN\n\n\n  Fundraising\n  Donations\n  Sponsorship\n  Marketing\n  Volunteer Coordination\n  Website\n  Newsletter\n  Equipment\n  Special Events\n  Presentations\n\nIf you are interested in volunteering off the mountain\, please\n  indicate areas you are interested in on your registration form.\nThank you so much for helping out.
