Yet for many kids, learning to read isn?t easy.=0D=0A Elspeth and Rowena, authors of the Meg and Greg series, will share=0D=0A their experiences developing and writing books for children with=0D=0A language-learning differences. Elspeth, a literacy teacher, will=0D=0A describe some of the quirks of English that can make reading and=0D=0A spelling a struggle, and Rowena, a children?s nonfiction author and=0D=0A freelance editor, will detail their journey from self-publishing to=0D=0A publishing their series with Orca Book Publishers. Join us to hear=0D=0A about language, spelling, and writing from a perspective that many=0D=0A readers and editors never encounter.  =0D=0A=0D=0AFollowing the presentation, Editors BC welcomes you to stay awhile=0D=0A and visit. You'll have the opportunity to chat in small groups about=0D=0A the presentation, get to know one another, and make online=0D=0A connections. We hope to see you there from 8:30 to 9:00 pm.=0D=0A
