DESCRIPTION: \n\n \n\n  \n    CANSail 3\n  \n\n\n  \n    Ages 11 - 16\n  \n\n\n  \n     9am - 4pm  Mon- Fri (2 week course) \n  \n\n \n \n     COMPLETION OF CANSail 2 IS REQUIRED BEFORE TAKING CANSail\n      3  \n  \n\n \nBUILDING on skills learned in CANSail 2\,\n  sailors will be introduced into the exciting world of sailboat racing.\n  In a safe and welcoming environment\, students will learn how to\n  maximize their speed through the use of various sail controls along\n  with other practical racing techniques. \nParticipation in a weekend regatta to be\n  determined as part of the course.\nBoat Type: Fevas\, Zests\, Pirates\, 420s\nCost:  $535 ($481 for August 2-12)  \n \n\n  \n    Note:  Sailors must have their own life jacket and wear  \n      closed-toe shoes (non-skid such as runners\, water shoes)\n  \n\n\n  \n    Daily Requirements:  lunch\, water\, sunscreen\, swimsuit\, change\n      of clothes for sunny or wet weather\, towel.  Face mask may be\n      required for indoor rainy day activities. \n  \n\n \n\n  Financial Assistance Available: Through our bursary\n  program - see website for details and application form.\n\n  CANSail program details: please visit www.sailing.ca\n\n\n  Note: New Cancellation Policy and Photo Release\n  Waiver\, view at www.deepcoveyc.com\n
