How do=0D=0A  they achieve this? Through educational and professional development opportunities.=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0AThe Alan=0D=0A  Sauvé Scholarship program was established in 2018. Each year at the=0D=0A  Manitoba Excellence in Customer Contact Achievement Awards (MECCA)=0D=0A  Gala, we host a silent auction with net proceeds applied to a growing=0D=0A  fund. To ensure the longevity of this endowment fund, we also accept=0D=0A  donations throughout the year.=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0AWho was=0D=0A  Alan Sauvé?=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0AAlan Sauvé=0D=0A  participated on the MCCA Board of Directors for 10+ years. Alan sat as=0D=0A  MCCA Board of Director Chair for 2 terms as well as Past Chair for 2=0D=0A  years. Alan was a strong supporter of MCCA and an advocate for change=0D=0A  in the call centre landscape in Manitoba. Alan was a true Industry=0D=0A  leader promoting positive change during many years of uncertainty for=0D=0A  the customer service community in Manitoba. Alan worked closely with=0D=0A  the Sector Council program, the provincial government and like-minded=0D=0A  agencies through the country.=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0AIn 2017, a=0D=0A  scholarship program was established to ensure emerging leaders had the=0D=0A  opportunity to access ongoing professional development opportunities.=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0AAs part of=0D=0A  the Alan Sauvé Scholarship program, recognition awards are handed out=0D=0A  each year at our MECCA Awards Gala.=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0AThis award=0D=0A  recognizes a person who exemplifies a positive outlook and attitude at=0D=0A  work, home and in the community.
