Join us for a discussion with Caroline about the\n  relationship between writers and editors. How does editing differ\n  between genres? How can editors help authors write better books? Do\n  you need to be a good writer to be a good editor? Find out more about\n  how Caroline blends the craft of writing and editing.\n \n\n  Caroline Adderson is the author of five novels (A\n    History of Forgetting\, Sitting Practice\, The Sky Is Falling\, Ellen\n    in Pieces\, and A Russian Sister)\, three collections of\n  short stories (Bad Imaginings\, Pleased to Meet You\, and A\n    Way to Be Happy)\, as well as many books for young readers. She\n  is also the editor and co-contributor of a nonfiction book of essays\n  and photographs\, Vancouver Vanishes: Narratives of Demolition and\n    Revival\, and guest editor of Best Canadian Stories\n  2019. Her work has received numerous award nominations\, including\n  the Sunday Times EFG Private Bank Short Story Award\, the International\n  IMPAC Dublin Literary Award\, two Commonwealth Writers’ Prizes\, the\n  Governor General’s Literary Award\, the Rogers Writers’ Trust Fiction\n  Prize\, and the Giller Prize longlist.\n
