DESCRIPTION:We look forward to welcoming the first 25 individuals who register to attend. \nWhen\n     Wednesday June 3\, 2026\, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. ET- In-Person\nWhere\n\n  Snooze\n    Room -1101 Kingston Rd #320\, Pickering\, ON L1V 1B5\nCosts\n  OASW Members: $10 (Refundable upon Attendance)\nTo encourage engagement among OASW members\, we kindly ask for a $10\n  deposit. Following your confirmed attendance of the event\, OASW\n  members will be refunded.\nEvent Description\nClinicians spend so much time holding space for others that we often\n  forget how overstimulated our own nervous systems have become.\n \nJoin us for an evening focused on sensory wellness\, nervous system\n  regulation\, and accessible self-care practices for both clinicians and\n  clients. In collaboration with The Snooze Room\, this experience will\n  explore how sensory rooms can support relaxation\, emotional\n  regulation\, and burnout prevention in ways that are both effective and\n  more accessible than traditional wellness spaces.\nThe evening will include:\n\n  A guided introduction to sensory wellness and its benefits\n  Time to experience the sensory rooms firsthand\n  Conversations around practical self-care for helping professionals\n  Charcuterie\, desserts\, and non-alcoholic beverages in a calm and\n    welcoming environment\n\nThis is an opportunity to slow down\, reconnect with your senses\, and\n  experience what many of us don’t realize we’re missing until we\n  finally enter a truly quiet space.\n\nCancellation Policy \n\n  Cancellations made up to 24 hours before a scheduled appointment\n    via email at claire@oasw.org will be processed\n    without a penalty.\n  Cancellations made 24 hours or less before an event will not be\n    refunded. This includes no-shows.\n  Refunds will be issued if this event is cancelled. \n\n\n  OASW Members only - Deposit Policy: Payment is for\n  deposit only.
