DESCRIPTION:We look forward to welcoming the first 10 individuals who register to attend. \nWhen\n     \n    Saturday\,\n      October 3rd\, 2026 from 12:30-3:00 p.m.\n    \n  \n\nWhere\n\n  Hersey\n    Lake Conservation Area (Meeting at the parking lot)\nCosts\n  OASW Members: Free\nEvent Description\n\n  Forest\n    Therapy is a wellness practice that seeks to connect individuals to\n    the present moment and to the natural environment through their\n    senses in order to nurture well-being. \n\n\n  Forest\n    Therapy sessions are slow\, gentle walks that often take place in\n    green spaces. The walk will open with an introduction to the history\n    and benefits of the practice\, followed by general safety guidelines. \n\n\n  The\n    guide\, \n  Aimée\n    Lavoie from Bunch Berry\n  \n    will then lead the participants onto the walking trail and offer\n    them a series of invitations designed to deepen their experience of\n    the forest.\n\n\n  \n    There will be a final closing activity where our guide will offer a\n    wildcrafted beverage and light snacks\, before leading participants\n    back to the parking lot. \n  If\n    there are any mobility issues or allergies our guide should be aware\n    of\, please use know upon registration.\n\n\nNOTE ABOUT REGISTRATION QUESTIONS:\nOASW is committed to inclusion and promoting a diverse range of\n  identities\, experiences\, perspectives\, and voices across all areas of\n  the Association.
