Participants will examine how\n  adverse childhood experiences\, emotional dysregulation\, substance use\,\n  stigma\, and systemic barriers can shape pathways into the justice\n  system and create challenges when individuals return to the community.\n  Using a trauma-informed\, anti-oppression and strengths-based approach\,\n  the session will highlight practical strategies for supporting\n  reintegration with dignity\, accountability\, emotional regulation\,\n  belonging\, and community connection. Learners should attend to\n  strengthen their understanding of reintegration beyond compliance and\n  gain tools to support individuals in rebuilding stability\, identity\,\n  and hope.\nPresenter Bio:\nFrancesca Serwaa is a psychotherapist (qualifying)\, social worker\,\n  and educator with nearly a decade of experience in mental health since\n  2016. Rooted in community work and informed by lived experience\, she\n  is passionate about helping individuals rebuild\, restore\, and reclaim\n  their lives in the face of trauma and systemic barriers.\nShe is the founder of Ignite Counselling Services and Pathways to\n  Reintegration.
