DESCRIPTION:We look forward to welcoming the first 20 individuals who register to attend. \nWhen\n     Wednesday\, September 30\, from 6 PM to 9 PM ET.\nWhere\n\n  Urbanfit\n    studio (2825 laurzon Pkwy Unit 204\, Windsor On N8T 3H5)\nCosts\n  OASW Members: $20 (Refundable upon\n  Attendance)  Non-Members: $25\nTo encourage engagement among OASW members\, we kindly ask for a $20\n  deposit. Following your confirmed attendance of the event\, OASW\n  members will be refunded.\nEvent Description\n\n  Join\n    us for a beginner friendly Self-Defence workshop for women. We will\n    cover hits\, kicks\, blocks\, verbal self-defence\, avoidance and\n    awareness strategies\, and share success stories of women stepping\n    into the power they’ve had within them all along. Food will not be\n    provided\, so please plan to eat beforehand. Comfortable shoes are\n    also recommended\, as we’ll be moving around.\n\n\n  \n    Instructor:\n  \n\n\n  \n    Alexandra Wiseman\n  \n  \n    has spent the past decade working in mental health across a variety\n    of roles including being a certified Wen-Do Women's Self Defence\n    Instructor. Her love of movement informs a genuine belief in the\n    mind-body connection. Alexandra holds a Bachelor and Master of Human\n    Kinetics and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor\,\n    and a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University\; the degree\n    that brought her passion for mental health to the center of\n    everything she does. She brings a combination of lived experience\,\n    professional training\, and heartfelt commitment to supporting others\n    on their healing journey.
