Join the=0D=0A  National Farmer Mental Health Alliance (NFMHA) as we share some=0D=0A  helpful strategies and create an open forum for discussion. Through=0D=0A  case study application participants will be given an opportunity to=0D=0A  develop their understanding and considerations for those involved in=0D=0A  the agriculture industry.=0D=0ABiography of Presenter:=0D=0A=0D=0ALauren Van Ewyk is an engaging speaker, registered social worker,=0D=0A  foster mom and agricultural mental health advocate. She is a founding=0D=0A  partner of the National Farmer Mental Health=0D=0A    Alliance (www.nfmha.ca)=0D=0A  which was developed after a team of experienced psychotherapists with=0D=0A  lived agriculture experience, discussed the unique needs facing the=0D=0A  agriculture industry. The challenges of farming and the importance of=0D=0A  having access to mental health services and supports tailored to=0D=0A  farmers, farm families, and veterinarians was conceptualized into the=0D=0A  services that are offered. We seek to help all those involved in the=0D=0A  agriculture community thrive. =0D=0ANOTE ABOUT REGISTRATION QUESTIONS:=0D=0A=0D=0AOASW is committed to inclusion and promoting a diverse range of=0D=0A  identities, experiences, perspectives, and voices across all areas of=0D=0A  the Association.
