He will first introduce some key concepts such as ?spark?=0D=0A energy, nervous system whispering, and the embodied=0D=0A countertransference. He will then address the profound effects of=0D=0A emotional neglect and the kind of lifelessness that can arise from=0D=0A this. Next, he will look at numbing after trauma, which can seem=0D=0A similar in terms of lifelessness to neglect, but have different=0D=0A aetiology and require different therapeutic techniques. This=0D=0A material will be brought together with clinical examples. New=0D=0A science combined with psychoanalytic understandings will suggest=0D=0A what can help shift people from ?desparked?, lifeless, unenergised=0D=0A states to more hopeful and joyous states. The talk will include=0D=0A video clips, slides, and discussions.=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A SEMINAR FEE:=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A $100  CAPCT and TICP Members=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A $125  Non-members=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A $50 -CICAPP and TICP Candidates (Currently in both Academic and=0D=0A Clinical training)=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A PROFESSIONAL  DEVELOPMENT=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A A certificate of attendance will be=0D=0A issued to participants upon completion of the presentation.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A These continuing education and=0D=0A professional development hours can also be used towards=0D=0A your continuing education, professional development portfolio for=0D=0A your respective colleges, including the College of Registered=0D=0A Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A For more information please=0D=0A contact by calling  416.690.5464 or by emailing  info@capct.ca.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A   =0D=0A=0D=0A
