Event Description

Give yourself the gift of a Friday morning to explore what areas in your life could use more balance. This is an opportunity to slow down, turn inward and nurture yourself. You will have space to relax, play, be creative, connect with others and connect to your intuition.

Join us Friday October 24th at St. Brigids Villa, on the beautiful grounds of the Ignatius Centre to mark the changing season with some time to reflect, connect and integrate using the creative practice of SoulCollage®  

SoulCollage®️ is a unique and fun way to quiet your left brain “thinking mind” and step into your right brain creative side using a simple method of combining pictures that you are intuitively drawn to. It is a relaxing and fun experience and you end up creating surprisingly meaningful collages. NO ARTISTIC ABILITY REQUIRED. All are welcome! If you’ve tried SoulCollage®️ before, this is an opportunity to explore a little deeper and make more cards!

Heidi Smith will be our guide in this cut and paste image to paper self-care/self-knowledge practice. All materials will be provided to create 1-2 personal collages, as well as lunch from Lucky Belly!

Facilitator - Heidi Smith

Heidi Smith is a Registered Dietitian, Mindfulness Trainer, SoulCollage®️ Facilitator and Co-founder of the company 'Vitality at Work'. She runs an individual consulting practice as well as offering online programs, retreats and workplace wellness programming. She has been consulting for individuals and organizations for over 20 years. Heidi provides a unique perspective by combing her expertise on nutrition and exercise with her passion for mindfulness, body awareness, self-compassion, self-discovery and intuitive eating.

Heidi has also worked alongside some of the worlds top athletes including National, Olympic, Junior, and Rep in a multitude of different sports. She is the author of the practical sport nutrition handbook entitled "Nutrition for the Long Run" and the wellness manual “Food, Hunger and Habits” where she explores practical tips to achieve better health.
