About the Presenter

Harold Louwerse, P.L.Eng, RRO
Stantec

Harold is a Practice Lead for Stantec’s new Building Specialty Services division in Western Canada, overseeing the Building Science, Energy Modeling, Façade Engineering, Facility Assessment, Building Commissioning, and Technology specialties. As a Professional Licensee of Engineering and a Registered Roofing Observer, Harold is knowledgeable and experienced in cladding, glazing, roofing, insulation and below grade waterproofing systems. He has been working in the building science industry for over 20 years and involved in the construction industry since 2001 as a carpenter. Harold has served on the FIGA BC Chapter Technical Committee and is currently serving on the RCABC Technical Committee. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching youth sport, and volunteering in the community.
