On-Demand Lunch & Learn:Engaging Racialized Communities: Inclusive Group Facilitation Skills Original air date: October 10 2025, 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. ET Group conversations can be powerful spaces for connection, but they can also unintentionally create harm particularly when issues of identity, power, and equity are at play. This interactive session is designed to strengthen the skills of facilitating discussions that are safe, inclusive, and purposeful. Participants will be introduced to a practical de-escalation tool (Pause–Name–Frame–Invite) and a participation structure that helps ensure racialized and marginalized voices are heard without being sidelined. Grounded in both community-based and clinical practice, this session integrates brief experiential activities including a grounding exercise, a live word cloud, and a reflective art activity. Participants will leave with a one-page checklist and two ready-to-use scripts to support safer, more intentional facilitation in groups and community spaces. Presented by: Sharlene Gumbs, MSW, RSW Available On-Demand Until: December 31, 2025 Pricing:
