Seventh graders!
Are you
thinking ahead to high school?
If you apply to a Catholic High School, you will
be asked to take the HSPT (High School Placement Test).
Saint Mary’s will host a Seventh Grade HSPT
Practice Test for seventh graders on Saturday, May 2, 2026 @
8:30 AM to 11:45 AM.
This practice test is intended to help students
become more familiar with the different sections of the HSPT,
especially under timed conditions. Space is limited to 100 spaces.
After you register:
- A reminder email will be sent to all registered participants.
Results of the practice test will be sent to families in late-May as
a tool for them to assess their child’s strengths and allow for
enough time to concentrate on areas of growth before taking the
genuine test.
- Test results are strictly confidential and are not sent to the
student’s school or kept at Saint Mary’s College High School. The
results are for you only.

Please understand that testing accommodations will NOT be
provided for the practice test. However, if you know your child
will need accommodations for the official HSPT, you can send in
the required documentation next year when you apply.
- All materials and snacks are provided by Saint Mary’s. Students
may want to bring something to read while they are waiting or if
they finish a section of the test early.
