Bruce–Huron–Perth & Area invites you to a restorative half-day
wellness experience created especially for social workers. Enjoy
guided breathwork, an optional supported sauna and cold plunge
experience, and time to gather by the fire with tea and community
connection. The experience concludes with a nourishing lunch and a
reflective fire and cacao ceremony in a peaceful cedar grove.
Take this time to honour your work, reset your
nervous system, and reconnect, with yourself and your colleagues.
Agenda
10:00 am: Arrive at the Cedarvale Wellness Studio where we will welcome guests and prepare for a breathwork session. This will run until approximately 10:45 am. 11:00 am: Guests change into bathing suits, bring towels and flip flops and get ready to enjoy our wood-burning saunas and cold plunge tubs. Guests are guided into the cold and use their breath to regulate from fight or flight to rest and relax in a safe and inviting setting in nature. Tea is served, a fire is set with seating to invite conversation and community between sauna and plunge experience. 12:30 pm - Lunch is served in the studio. 1:30 pm - We close out the afternoon with a fire and cacao ceremony at our outdoor healing circle, set in the cedar grove. 2:00 pm - Guests depart Cancellation Policy
