Kids In Motion is a program of the Kelowna & District Society for People In Motion. Promoting adaptive sport and recreation and opportunities for children and youth to experience healthy, inclusive, and accessible activities with family and friends.

 People In Motion would like to invite children and youth who have a physical and/or a sensory disAbility along with their family to join us at Agur Lake for a Summer Family Fun Day.  

 Discover the newly created fully wheelchair accessible hiking trail/nature walk, wheelchair accessible warf to fish off of, as well as meet new friends and network with other individuals who love to enjoy healthy, active outdoor activities.

Activities include:

Self-guided nature hikes, wiener, and marshmallow roast, snacks, and drinks.

 We have a group from GoFish.BC join us and facilitate the Learn to Fish program; this will be offered to all children and youth along with the assistance of parents/caregivers or older siblings.   All fishing gear will be supplied by the Learn to Fish program facilitators.  For more info on this program, check out their weblink
