Event Description

Join social workers on a transformative journey of rejuvenation and self-discovery in this 2-hour workshop. Led by Tina Scheer, a compassionate social worker, experienced yoga instructor, and certified Reiki Master Teacher, the session integrates evidence-based practices to nurture mind, body, and spirit.

The workshop commences with a gentle yoga session promoting physical relaxation and mental clarity, guiding participants through postures and breathing exercises to release tension and cultivate present-moment awareness. Experience the healing power of Reiki during the practice—an ancient Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation.

Incorporating mindfulness and self-care tailored for social workers, participants learn practical tools for managing stress, enhancing resilience, and fostering compassion. By the workshop's end, attendees emerge renewed and empowered, equipped with clarity, compassion, and inner peace to continue their vital work. Light snacks accommodatable to all dietary restrictions and soft drinks will be provided.
