SEVENTH GRADE HSPT PRACTICE TEST HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR SUMMER
WE LOOK FORWARD
TO MEETING YOUR STUDENT AT OUR SUMMER 2020 EVENT!
Seventh graders, are you thinking ahead to high school? If
you are applying to a Catholic High School, you will be asked to take
the HSPT (High School Placement Test).
Saint Mary’s will be hosting an opportunity for seventh
graders to participate in a
Seventh Grade HSPT Practice Test
This practice test is intended to help students become more
familiar with the different sections of the HSPT, especially under
timed conditions. Space is limited to 125 spaces.
For those families who register
for Seventh Grade Day:
A reminder email will be sent
to all registered participants in during the first week of April.
Results of the practice test will be mailed home to families in
mid-May as a tool for them to assess their child’s personal
strengths and allow for enough time to concentrate on areas of
growth before taking the genuine test.
The results will include
academic suggestions from Saint Mary’s for improvement in reading,
writing, and mathematics, if needed. Test results are strictly
confidential and are not sent to the student’s school or kept at
Saint Mary’s College High School. Exam results will
be mailed to the student’s current school.
Parents are invited to attend
the morning welcome and overview in the auditorium. Once students
have been directed to classrooms, members of the Saint Mary’s
administration and staff will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00
a.m. to meet and greet parents and answer any questions about
Saint Mary’s and its program.
All materials are provided by
Saint Mary’s. Students may want to bring something to read while
they are waiting or if they finish a section of the test early.
