Courtyard by Marriott, Downtown Toronto

 

Join us on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Courtyard by Marriott, Downtown Toronto, for our first ever Governance Forum for non-financial co-operatives!

 

Delegates will participate in both plenary and breakout sessions all day Thursday, October 11th and are also invited to join the delegates of the Director's Forum for a networking cocktail reception that evening between 5 and 7pm.

 

Delegates will also have the option to participate in a joint session with directors of Ontario's financial co-operatives, at the Directors' Forum on the morning of Friday, October 12. During this time, co-operative and credit union directors will be given an opportunity to share their common issues and challenges, and develop opportunities to collaborate and overcome them. Delegates should indicate their intention to participate in this session during the registration process. No additional fees will be charged, but overnight accommodations may be required and are the responsibility of the delegate.

 

Bursaries

If you are a director (or staff) of a small, new and/or emerging co-operative who wishes to attend but cannot afford the full cost of registration, we may be able to help!  Contact us  to see what bursary opportunities we may have to make the fee more accessible to you, or to help put you in touch with a co-operative in your community that may be able to subsidize your registration fees. 

 

Accommodations

A block of rooms have been set aside for our delegates at the group rate of $189 + HST/night (standard room), which will be available on a first come/first serve basis. Click here  for more information.
