Overview:

This forum will explore questions that directors and auditors should ask about monitoring the financial health of an organization and the personal responsibilities that directors have for ensuring they understand the financial information provided to them and the financial implications of their decisions and actions. The Board of Directors hold ultimate accountability for the financial affairs of the organization and directors are expected to probe and question until they are satisfied with their organization’s financial information and the direction in which the organization is moving. The forum can also be used by management and members of the internal audit community to guide their discussions and prepare for interaction with their boards.
