Doug Enns, FCA, FCPA, C.Dir.
Doug moved to Victoria to become the CEO of Pacific Coast
Savings. He later relocated to the UK to become the Managing
Director of International Operations of a software
development firm for which he served as an SEC reporting
officer pursuant to the company’s listing on NASDAQ. On his
return to Canada he was asked to Chair the Board of Worksafe
BC. Other board appointments include chairing the Boards of
Consumer Protection BC, serving on the board of BC Life and
chairing the Advisory Board of Ralmax Industries. Doug is a
past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of
BC. He has recently retired from his role as Commissioner of
British Columbia Utilities Commission.
Stuart Newton CPA, CA, CIA.
Stuart is the Deputy Auditor General of BC responsible for
the Financial Statement Audit portfolio and is currently the
Audit and Finance Committee Chair of the Canadian
Comprehensive Audit Foundation. He has over 27 years of
internal and external audit, consulting and financial policy
experience and is the former Comptroller General of BC and
Executive Director of BC’s Internal Audit and Advisory
Services department.
Michel Drolet
, CPA, CMA, CIA.
Michel is the Vice President of Internal Audit at BC
Investment Management Corporation (BCI) and the former Vice
President of Internal Audit at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc.
Michel has significant internal audit experience and is a
Chartered Professional Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor.
Kelly Dorin, CIDA, CPA, CA, CIA, CFE, CCSA, CRMA, CSXF.
Kelly has extensive experience in accounting, audit,
fraud investigations, data analytics and risk management.
Kelly is the current Governor and past President of
Vancouver Island’s Institute of Internal Auditors and has
served two terms as President of the Victoria Chartered
Accountants Association. He currently teaches business
administration at the University of Victoria and internal
audit and data analytics at Camosun College.
