EVENT:                  A Celebration 70 Years in the Making!

We are proud to officially announce the 70th Anniversary of the Vancouver Chapter of the IIA.  As one of the oldest chapters in Canada, we will be celebrating this milestone with a day of education and networking.

We are proud to present the renowned Michael J. Fucilli as one of our speakers for this event.  He will provide key insights as he presents “Auditing for Impact – Let’s make a difference” during our morning session, and “The Auditor to CAE” in the afternoon.

We are also honoured to host Bill Michalisin, the Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer for the Institute of Internal Auditors. Bill will present a keynote speech following lunch, providing attendees with key insights regarding the profession.

This event will also include a motivational speaker, along with networking and delicious breakfast, lunch and cocktails!

Michael is the CAE for a large Public Sector company with Revenues in excess of $15 billion.

• 38 years of internal auditing experience that includes Financial Services, Public Sector, Inventory Management, Technology and SOX Reporting 
• Audit staff of 85 professionals and is on the IIAs’ Internal Audit Foundation Board of Directors and the IIA Executive Committee
• Passionate and energetic speaker and has spoke at the last four IIA International Conferences
• Adjunct Professor for Pace University where he teaches for the Certified Internal Auditor Exam

Bill is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the global professional association and standard-setting body for internal auditors. The IIA serves more than 190,000 members in over 170 countries and is the internal audit profession’s recognized advocate, educator, and provider of standards, guidance, and certifications globally.
