Volunteer Schedule Registration for Powderhounds program 2016-2017

Welcome to all of you and thank you for signing up to Volunteer for this fantastic adaptive snow sports program.  You are the driving force behind the success of this program and make it possible for so many individuals to get up on the hill and experience the joy of skiing... This season we have initiated a new system for volunteers to easily chose the exact dates they would like to volunteer for by using a block system.

We ask that you study the block choices carefully before chosing your selections as once you have registered for your block selection we will require you to find a replacement volunteer if you are not able for any reason to cover your date and time chosen.

Each volunteer is required to complete a minimum of 12 sessions this season.  This is were you will sign up for these 12 sessions.  Keep in mind each full day will count as TWO sessions.  (For example, if you chose a block of Saturdays with 4 dates this will count as 8 sessions).  There are blocks of dates that have 4 days( 8 sessions), 3 days (6 sessions)  and 1 day (2 sessions).  

In addition to the 12 session requirement as a volunteer we ask that you attend the DATS training each year and CADS Level 1 training if not already certified. (date to be announced). We will also ask that you keep in mind that we will need several volunteers for our Annual Kids In Motion Family Fun Day which is scheduled to happen on Saturday, February 25, 2017. We will send out a separate email for you to attend CADS and Family Fun Day.
