This training consists of on-demand online components. The aim of this training is to review basic guidelines and requirements for FQHC coding and billing. Below are descriptions of each of the web based sessions. 

Access to all web-based materials will be sent to participants once individual registration is complete. 

Cost of the training covers all training materials, and supplies. 

Web Based Sessions

FQHC Billing Basics - Basics of the FQHC billing process and what an individual needs to know to be successful in billing and coding for services provided will be covered. Staff members will be introduced to the FQHC manual for both Medicare and Medicaid, review the rules and regulations in these manuals and determine the best approach for billing and coding rendered services.  

FQHC Nuances   - This module will review all of the nuances of FQHC billing. Learners will come away with tips and tricks to make billing process achievable while reducing errors in claim payments. Specific line items that need to be included in the UB04 as well as explanations of the various services that should be billed on a HCF 1500 and carved out of your cost report will be reviewed. 

FQHC Billing for the Dental Department - With new rules and regulations surrounding dental and DentaQuest requiring new metrics for reporting services, it's easy for an biller to be confused by these. This module will review how to use the DentaQuest QRM and what nuances need special attention. Learners will also spend some time discussing hygienist billing and the services that they perform that qualify for the DentaQuest Incentive Program. 

FQHC Billing for Behavioral Health Services - Behavioral Health Organizations can be a tricky thing to navigate for an FQHC. This module will go over rules and regulations that differ from those of Medicare and Medicaid, rules that are parallel and other nuances that can help with achieve behavioral health billing success.
