Session Description:

 

It seems nearly every week we learn about a data breach where attackers went unnoticed for a significant period of time. When faced with a data breach, the first order of business for companies is to find out what happened, how it happened and who did it. Our speakers Marty Musters and Aniko Kiss are going to share with you the typical breach incident response and forensics process.  Case studies will be used during this half day session. About the Speakers:

Marty Musters, B.Math, CISSP, CISA, CFE, PI, is the Director of Forensics at the Computer Forensics Investigations Inc. He has been working in the IT Forensics field for more than 17 years.  Prior to that, Marty was working as the Corporate IT Security Officer for Bruce Power, a large nuclear power facility.  Marty graduated from University of Waterloo with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Sciences (Hon).  Marty has been qualified as an expert in a number of high profile court cases in Canada.

Aniko Kiss is President of Digital Solutions, a security company offering both Security and Forensic services. Aniko has been working in the Security and Forensics industry for the last 7 years and has been qualified in the courts to provide expert testimony in court. Aniko has been appointed to act on behalf of the Courts in Hawaii. She has also been appointed as an investigator for the College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSO).
