 Description

ISACA Toronto Annual Summer Conference 2021

June 21, 22, 23, 2021 (8:30am to 1:00pm EST)

Virtual Conference

Two Streams: More Choice, More knowledge

As Governance, Control and Technology professionals, one of our biggest challenges is to keep ourselves always updated and current on emerging technology, risks and related governance concerns that we face in an ever-changing world. While this challenge of keeping up with change has always been there, it is even more difficult in today’s world due to the speed and pace of the changes in technology, related risks and compliance requirements.  As ISACA Toronto is committed to supporting its members through the current pandemic conditions by providing timely and affordable learning opportunities, we are introducing a three-day virtual conference on emerging technology, risks and governance issues.

This 6th annual conference will be held online in the mornings (8:30 am to 12:30 pm Eastern Standard Time) of June 21-23, 2021. Members are encouraged to register early so we can prepare for the best participant experience.  Keeping financial sensitivities in mind during our pandemic recovery, we will be offering our conference at reduced rate.  Also, we plan to donate a portion of the conference proceeds to some of the hardest hit long term care and retirement homes.

The three half-day conference will be delivered in two streams – (1) governance, risk, compliance and controls and (2) technology and security issues.  In total, participants can select from multiple topic sessions and earn up to 12 CPEs.

This event will provide high quality training on topics such as technology implementation; evolution of risk, compliance and auditing fields; and current issues such as Cyber security, digital risks, and managing risk in this new work from home era.  We will also provide attendees with opportunities to network with speakers and other peers.
