Session Description:

Many of us have career aspirations and goals but we are so busy between our work and life that we hardly focus on ourselves.  We know that we can do better.  Are you a Senior Manager of IT Audit or AVP of IT Audit looking to move up to the next level but for some reason finding it a challenge? This Info session and the sequel Coaching sessions is for you.

Have you had the benefit of sitting down with a Career Coach who can take special interest in you, listen to you deeply, understand how you operate, your limiting or enabling beliefs, how you perceive the world and opportunities around us, how you make choices and decisions.  In other words we don't allow ourselves to discover and navigate to success ourselves by opening up our awareness.

In this Information Session, we will explore how we can take the first step to become the best version of ourselves and begin to operate at our fullest potential by engaging ourselves in a coaching process. This is an information and awareness session.  While there is no coaching that will occur at the session itself, the session will introduce the discipline of Coaching and describe ISACA's investment in a Group Coaching Program and how you can benefit from it.  The session will serve as an eye-opener for those of you who are aspiring but have been struggling with growth to the next level.  However, to really get the benefit of Coaching you need to sign up for either the Group Coaching or individual Coaching session.  More information will be provided during the session.

The session will explain what coaching is and what it is not; role of the coach; ; principles, process and benefits of coaching; group coaching and finally present the process and next steps for you to be part this program and to receive this ISACA benefit.

Speaker Bio:

Baskaran Rajamani, Principal of Success Support Services Inc., a recently retired Partner from Deloitte, and a Certified Career Coach will facilitate the session. Baskaran has over 30 years of experience and a deep understanding of the IT Audit Profession, typical career challenges faced by individuals.  He has coached as well as mentored numerous individuals on successful navigation of their IT Audit career over these years. In his current role at Success Support, he offers Career and Executive Coaching to a wide variety of professionals who are aspiring to operate at their fullest potential. He brings a very personal, caring, customized and practical approach to coaching and has received excellent feedback from his clients for the effectiveness of his Coaching approach, how empowering it has been for his clients and the results clients have seen for themselves.
