With the recent announcement by Premier Doug Ford regarding the reopening of places of worship, the Clergy and lay leaders of Adath Israel have consulted with our Medical Advisory Committee to determine a path forward that will be safest for our staff and members. 

We are using this Shabbat - June 13th - as an opportunity to test new safety protocols. For this Shabbat morning, in-person participation will include only clergy, the Executive Director, the Medical Advisory Committee, select lay leaders, and ushers.

Please formally register by clicking the blue button on this page.  A detailed email will be sent to you on Friday to help you prepare for services on Saturday morning

1. A separate application form must be completed for each person who wishes to attend a service.
2. The total number of persons who may attend each service is strictly limited by Toronto Public Health and synagogue policy, established in collaboration with our Medical Advisory Committee. 
3. Completing and submitting an application does NOT guarantee that you will be permitted to attend the service.
4. You may attend the service ONLY if you receive formal notification from the synagogue BEFOREHAND that your application has been accepted, and you comply with entry conditions.
5. Otherwise, we regret that you will not be allowed entry. Admission to each service will be strictly monitored and controlled by security and synagogue personnel so that we may comply with COVID-19 policies, as established by Toronto Public Health and our Medical Advisory Committee.
