|2019 BOW May 24-26 Camp Whonnock in Maple Ridge, BC|
The BC Wildlife Federation welcomes you to our first BOW event of 2019, taking place the weekend of May 24-26 at Camp Whonnock in Maple Ridge, BC.
Participate in our all-inclusive outdoor skills weekend for women. All courses are conducted by qualified, patient and supportive instructors in a safe, fun and educational environment.
Registration deadline is April 19, 2019, or when full. Space is limited to 56 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
You will be taking 4 courses during the weekend. Early registrations will have the best chances for their first choices. All courses are subject to availability and number of interested participants.

Fee includes instruction in all 4 sessions, program materials, use of equipment, meals, lodgings, Becoming an Outdoors Woman T-shirt.

Scholarships: The Colleen Laviolette Scholarship Fund
The Colleen Laviolette Scholarship Fund began in 1998, and was started by the Conservation Services to assist first time participants who may not be able to pay for a full registration.
To apply for scholarship funding: please send your written request outlining the need along with the $225.00 registration fee by mail to the BCWF office at 101-9706 188th St, Surrey, BC V4N 3M2. Preference will be given to full time students and single parents. Successful applicants will be notified by phone. All requests will remain confidential.
Cancellation: If you cancel at least 45 days prior to the BOW weekend you will receive a full refund. Cancellation 30-45 days prior to the weekend will have a $50.00 administration fee deducted from your refund. No refunds will be issued less than 30 days prior to the scheduled BOW weekend except in the case of a proven emergency. Registrants who do not attend and have not cancelled 30 days in advance will forfeit the full registration fee. You may send a substitute in your place if you cannot attend.
