BOW Registrants - Spread the Word and Have a Chance to Win a Free 2020 BOW Weekend!

Refer a new BOW Registrant to our fall Cowichan Lake event who has never attended BOW, and your name will be entered in a draw for a chance to win a free BOW weekend in 2020 ($400.00 Value). Contest entry is easy! Just ask the person your referred when they are registering to enter your name in the specified field. Draw will be held during the BOW Cowichan Lake event the weekend of October 4-6, 2019. *Referrals will be verified for eligibility after registration closes September 30, 2019 (have never been to BOW & must attend this event).

The BC Wildlife Federation welcomes you to our 2019 fall BOW event, taking place the weekend of October 4-6 at the Cowichan Lake Education Centre in Lake Cowichan, BC.

Participate in our all-inclusive outdoor skills weekend for women. All courses are conducted by qualified, patient and supportive instructors in a safe, fun and educational environment.

Registration deadline has been extended to September 30, or when full. Space is limited, and based on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registrations will have the best chances for their first choices.

You will be taking 4 courses during the weekend. All courses are subject to availability and number of interested participants. Click here for course decriptions.

Scholarships: The Colleen Laviolette Scholarship Fund

The Colleen Laviolette Scholarship Fund began in 1998, and was started by the Conservation Services to assist first time participants who may not be able to pay for a full registration.

To apply for scholarship funding: please send your written request outlining the need along with the $225.00 registration fee by mail to the BCWF office at 101-9706 188th St. Surrey, BC V4N 3M2. Preference will be given to full time students and single parents. Successful applicants will be notified by phone. All requests will remain confidential.  

Cancellation: Only cancellations at least 45 days prior to the BOW weekend will receive a full refund. A cancellation fee of $50.00 will be applied and deducted from all other cancellations. No refunds will be issued less than 30 days prior to the scheduled BOW weekend except in the case of a proven emergency. Registrants who do not attend and have not cancelled 30 days in advance will forfeit the full registration fee. You may send a substitute in your place if you cannot attend.
