2020 NASP BC - Town Hall
 Description

As the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP®) and the BC Wildlife Federation (BCWF) adjusts our protocol for Basic Archery Instructor (BAI) training courses, our in-school and after-school programs, and our tournaments, we want to ensure our archery instructors, students, and the archery community are able to contribute their thoughts and concerns to us. To facilitate a dialogue about conducting archery during the pandemic, we are hosting a virtual Town Hall on Thursday, November 19th at 7 PM.

The Town Hall will primarily address the recommendation set forth in the NASP BC Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) under COVID-19. If you have not read the SOP, click here to download a copy. We will provide equipment demonstrations as well as advice on how to best operate your range to keep all users physically-distanced. We also welcome instructors and student who want to share their experiences with NASP during COVID-19. We have capacity for up to 2 guest speakers to present for up to 15 minutes. If you would like to present, please send us an email at youth@bcwf.bc.ca by November 12th. Guest speakers will be booked at a first-come, first-serve basis. Most importantly, the Town Hall will have question-and-answer period where Town Hall attendees can ask their COVID-19 safety questions to NASP BC/BCWF staff.
