2022 Wild Kidz 2 - Surrey, BC

Wild Kidz is a week-long day camp for kids ages 8-17, which strives to educate children about the importance of nature, while providing them with fun, hands-on outdoor experiences.  The Wild Kidz Camp targets a variety of learning experiences with activities such as ecological workshops, talks & demonstrations, outdoor classrooms, educational games, fishing lessons, and more. Not only will your child learn more about the value of the environment, they will do so through fun, hands-on outdoor activities and collaborative learning methods.

Activities may include:

  • Fire and shelter-building games
  • Archery and range day
  • Fishing field trip
  • Grow-your-own sprouts
  • Find-Your-Way compass activity
  • Hiking field trip
  • Much more!

COVID-19 Response:

In order to keep campers at our Wild Kidz camp safe, we have implemented a number of safety measures to limit contact and the potential spread of COVID-19. The following infographic highlights many of the measures will be taken to ensure camper health and safety:

  •         Daily symptom monitoring
  •         Strict physical-distancing rules
  •         Encouraged face masks or face shields
  •         Frequent hand sanitizing
  •         Increased cleaning schedule for all commonly touched surfaces
  •         Hourly bathroom cleaning
  •         Most lessons occurring outdoors

We will continue to adapt and adjust these requirements to keep our campers, staff, families, and communities safe.

A more detailed schedule will be included in the Parent Handbook, which will be sent via email a few business days after registration ends. The Parent Handbook provides an overview of Camp logistics such as where campers must be dropped off and picked up, forms, etc.
