Item: Welcome the Stranger

Being a refugee in Hungary is not easy. Hungarian is one of the hardest languages to learn and the attitude to strangers can be one of suspicion or fear. But at the Kalunba Centre, a ministry of the Reformed Church in Hungary, Dora and her team heed Jesus’ call to welcome the stranger among us. At Kalunba, refugees receive practical assistance with housing, language classes and most importantly—hope!
