Yard / Second Hand Shop Business Licence in a few easy steps!
Business Licenses are issued in
accordance with the Business Licence By-Law 128 of 2017. Licenses
will be issued after payment has been received, and all information
verified and requirements confirmed.
Please ensure the following
documents are submitted in order to process your application.
Clear Criminal Record Check, within
the last three years, from applicant.
Documents can be submitted:
1. In Person: Customer Service,

Online Submission of a
Licence Renewal does not confirm Licensing Eligibility.
Please retain your electronic receipt, emailed to you, after
*The Fire Inspection is payable alongside the
licence fee. Licenses can only be issued to those applicants who
have a successful fire inspection report on file within the last 12
calendar months, per the Sarnia Fire Chief. Fire Inspection fee is
collected as per Bylaw # 128 of 2017.
Licenses will be mailed out within 10 business days of online
order to the mailing address provided by the applicant.
First applicable late fee applied after March 31st is $35.00.
Second applicable late fee applied after July 1st is $100.00.
