Item: AGCO -Temporary Outdoor Physical Extension (Temporary Patio)
Request Municipal approval for a Temporary Outdoor Patio (for up to 8
months per calendar year) online with the City of Sarnia, for AGCO
After online submission, email business@sarnia.ca with your Site
Plan (sketch of temporary patio) and a copy of the existing/current
liquor licence. For additional information visit: AGCO

For municipal approval for a permanent patio,
complete the AGCO's
Municipal Information Form and submit to business@sarnia.ca. Issuance of
Agency Letters of Approval using a Municipal Information Form (Year
Round locations) take up to 30 days, and additional fees could be applicable.
If the patio is over two feet off the ground or attached to the
building (fastened to the building for support) you need to contact building@sarnia.ca prior to construction.
If your patio will be located on City Property, additional items are
required. Please visit Temporary
Sidewalk Patio Program for more information, and contact engineering@sarnia.ca with questions.
Applicants are required to notify the AGCO before they start selling
and serving liquor on a temporary patio.
You must also notify AGCO if your approval is suspended or withdrawn,
or if the conditions of the approval are changed or added. To make the
notification you must submit a regulatory submission through your
online iAGCO account.
