How do we stop incurring monthly fees from GiftTool?

The monthly fee for the following GiftTool services are only charged during active calendar months:

• Event Registrar: The monthly fee is only charged during active calendar months with 1 or more transactions (registrations).
• Pledge-a-thon: The monthly fee is only charged during active calendar months with 1 or more transactions (participant registrations, online donations). Entering offline donations or processing monthly donations will not trigger the monthly fee.
• Test & Survey: The monthly fee is only charged during active calendar months with 1 or more tests/surveys completed.

Therefore, when your event, pledge drive or survey is over, there is no need to cancel your GiftTool service.

By selecting Archive beside your event or pledge-a-thon, the public will no longer be able to interact with your event / pledge pages. By entering an End Date for your survey or test, your audience will not be able to complete a survey that is over.

During dormant months, you can continue to login to GiftTool, view Reports, use the 'copy' feature to setup your next event or survey.

Note: The monthly fee for the Donation, Membership and Shopping service will be charged each calendar month regardless of activity. Learn more about cancelling a subscription to one of these services or reactivating a service once cancelled.
