Dear friends,

Some of you may remember that Marco and I were scheduled to particiate in our second medical mission trip together to Guatemala with members of Team Broken Earth - Barrie in May of 2020.  Due to Covid, that mission was postponed...  

It is with a happy heart that I share that we are back on and returning to Guatemala in just a few short weeks.  

On October 1st 2022, Marco and I will be joining an incredible team on a one week medical relief and education mission trip. 

Once again, our surgical team will be receiving patients from remote regions of the country. Resources at the hospital are extremely limited and our team will be bringing supplies, equipment and medication.  

This will be Marco's fifth medical mission and my second. Many of you generously donated to our first trip together in 2019 and we were overwhelmed with the support.  We received many donations in 2020, again overwhelmed by the generosity of our family and friends.  Those funds have been held in anticipation of our return.  We are once again hoping to reach our joint fundraising goal.

It was not lost on the patients we saw that we were able to offer these surgeries and services in large part due to the support and generosity of our friends and family back home and around the world!
