I am fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in another medical relief and education mission trip to Antigua, Guatemala, with Team Broken Earth Barrie in October 2024. This will be my fourth mission to Guatemala. During our first mission in May 2019, we successfully performed over 60 surgeries, and during our trip in October 2022, we conducted around 50 much-needed gynecological, orthopedic, and general surgery procedures. During our last year in Antigua, we performed 79 surgeries. These surgeries were crucial for people who otherwise would not have access to such medical care. As we prepare for our upcoming mission, we aim to help just as many people, and we rely on your support to achieve this goal. Your contribution will make a significant difference in the lives of those in need. One of the challenges we face is securing all the required items and medication for the mission. Unfortunately, there is no local inventory of supplies in Guatemala that we can rely on, so we must bring everything we need. Your generosity will empower us to bring much-needed medical aid to those who are currently underserved in Guatemala.
