First off, thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to support me in this amazing opportunity. It’s with great pride that I share with you that I have been selected to participate in a volunteer humanitarian mission to Antigua Guatemala from November 25th to December 02nd 2023. This is a medical mission with the focus on providing life changing surgeries in the disciplines of gynecology, orthopaedics, dental, and general surgery for underprivileged rural Guatemalans. My role in this mission is to work as a Surgical Scrub Nurse with the talented surgical teams under “Team Broken Earth Barrie”.
As with many missions of this nature there is a personal cost associated with it. Every member has been asked to provide $2700 Canadian dollars to cover the cost of our flights, loggings, meals, and other transportation. To alleviate some of the cost personally I have created my own fundraising page in hopes that I can collect donations to support this mission.
