In October, I will be leading Team Broken Earth Barrie on a surgical mission to Guatemala. 

Team Barrie has completed six medical missions since 2016, three in Haiti and three in Guatemala. Over 154 volunteers

have participated in these missions and we have completed over 360 surgeries such as hip replacements, orthopedic trauma care,

hysterectomies, hernia repairs and abdominal surgeries. We have completed two dental clinics and two primary care outreach clinics where

over 750 patients have been assessed and treated. Our current focus is on Guatemala, where we partner with Asociacion Compañero Para

Cirugia (ACPC) to provide gynecologic, orthopedic and general surgeries and dental care, for rural Guatemalans who cannot easily access

or afford this type of care.
