I will be participating in a medical relief and education mission with members of Team Broken Earth Barrie - October 2025 to Antigua Guatemala. This will be my sixth mission with Team Barrie, including Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Anesthesia Assistants, Medical Residents and Dental team. I'm grateful to be part of this medical team of skilled, compassionate and resourceful health care providers. Residents of Guatemala rely on us provide much needed medical care they often can't afford or lack available resources for medical treatment. The gratitude we receive from our patients is overwhelming and personally I find this very rewarding to share my knowledge, experience and provide care that is appreciated. A warm smile, strong hand shake or warm hug has more healing power than we realize. Not just for our patients but also for thier care providers.
I have created my own fundraising page to collect donations in support of this effort.
