We’re excited to announce Team Ottawa will be returning to Duquesa, in the Dominican Republic, this coming June!

In partnership with Community Empowerment and RUSH University, our dedicated volunteers from Ottawa will be providing essential primary care to families living near the Duquesa landfill – one of the largest in the world.

This community is home to many Haitian migrants, families who face incredibly challenging living conditions, and have limited access to healthcare. Our team will work directly with residents to deliver medical support, compassion, and hope to a community that has long been overlooked.

Our mission is grounded in equity, empathy, and the belief that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare – no matter where they live. We invite you to support our efforts as we bring care and connection to those who need it most!
