Hi;
As most of you know, I was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer early in 2025 and have received amazing treatment and support from the BC Cancer Agency (BCCA) and the Prostate Cancer Support Centre (PCSC). In collaboration with UBC and other agencies and institutions across the country, the BCCA continues to research for new treatment options to help improve long term outcomes for prostate cancer patients, like myself. The PCSC requires generous donations to deliver the programs they offer to patients and spouses. I continue to engage in some of the programs, which have been a great source of information and support.
Janette and I have also been so grateful for the love and support we have received from our family and friends over the last year and hope many of you can join us for a walk at Trout Lake from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. We will be starting at the Lakewood Drive entrance.
I also invite you to help support prostate cancer research with a kind donation. If you are able, please click on the support me link.
Thank You
Jeff
THE FATHER'S DAY WALK RUN EVENT
Is an annual event hosted by Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada, a volunteer based organization that represents Canada’s prostate cancer patients, their families and communities. Even if you aren’t a walker or a runner, you can still step up and volunteer or consider donating.
Every donation, big or small, will have a huge impact for men and their families dealing with a prostate cancer diagnosis in Canada.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for giving the men in your life the gift of health this Father's Day.
