Prostate Cancer affects one in 8 men in their lifetime! Just over a week to go before the Walk/Run event at the BC Wildlife Park (Fathers' Day JUne 21). A generous person has offered to double all donations in this final stretch so if you've been thinking about sponsoring me, but haven't quite got there yet, please don't delay. Also, all are welcome to come out and participate in the walk/run. Do one lap (1km) or 5 (5km)-your presence will be greatly appreciated.
How can you help? Support me and make a donation to Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada's Annual Father's Day Walk Run via my personal web page below. Even better, come on out to the B.C. Wildlife Park and join with the other men and their families to support this important cause.
Why am I participating in the run? Because this run is for the tens of thousands of Canadian men living courageously with prostate cancer and their families. It’s for all the men who have died from this disease and the families who have lost loved ones. It’s for the roughly 26,000 men who will be diagnosed this year and everyone who cares about them.
Every donation, no matter how small, will have a large impact for men and their families dealing with a diagnosis of prostate cancer.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for giving the men in your life the gift of health this Father's Day.
