For the month of October I'm heading out hiking as much as I can fit into my schedule!
I support the Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC) - the non-profit organization that cares for this tremendous trail and conserves land along its route.
Although the Bruce Trail is a continuous 90 km footpath, 32% of the Bruce Trail corridor is still vulnerable to development. The BTC has been responsible for protecting over 16,000 acres along the Escarpment land, but development pressures are increasing and more of this precious greenspace needs to be protected before it is lost.
Please consider donating to this important cause. Even just $5 will help!
All donations of $10 or more will receive a tax receipt from the Bruce Trail Conservancy.
The Bruce Trail is Canada's oldest and longest marked public footpath. Running along the Niagara Escarpment in southern Ontario from Niagara to Tobermory, the Bruce Trail spans 900 km of main Trail and over 450 km of associated side trails.
The Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC) is a charitable organization - a trail association and a land trust - dedicated to establishing a conservation corridor containing a public footpath along the Niagara Escarpment.
The BTC is one of Ontario's largest land trusts, responsible for the preservation of over 16,000 acres of irreplaceable Niagara Escarpment landscape.
